Printing  :  Scanning  :  Retouching FILM SCANNING For many jobs we do, the scan we supply to a client is actually the final product. So we treat our scan orders much like a final print. We evaluate the image on a calibrated monitor for proper color, contrast and density. If a proof print or digital "contact sheet" is requested as part of the order, we will evaluate the printed proof and tweak the final file and proof print if necessary. We use an Imacon (now Hasselblad) 848 to scan all film originals from 35mm, medium format (including panoramic format to 6x17) and 4x5. All film is scanned in 16 bit and cleaned at 100% of it's final size. You can choose to have us correct your scan for density, color and contrast, or you may take delivery of your scan in it's "raw" state so that you may make corrections. Scans are all burned to CD or DVD for final delivery, or can be downloaded via FTP for a nominal charge.
